Lake George is located in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York, approximately 32 miles long, 3 miles wide and has a maximum depth of nearly 200 feet. The lake is dotted with 245 islands and is considered to be on of the most preteen bodies of water in the world.
